I was deeply satisfied with this event. I purchased the tickets to see my favorite band, The Roots, since I wasn't able to get tickets to their show in the spring. I am a fan of Owl City, but I never would've bought the tickets if The Roots weren't opening for them. My friend and I get there over an hour early to get amazing seats, and then about ten minutes before the show starts, my friend gets a text from her boyfriend saying he just read that The Roots wouldn't be at the show. Honestly, I didn't even believe him at first, but when we looked it up for ourselves, it was true, and I was thrilled. I was NEVER informed that The Roots wouldn't be there, and NO ONE apologized for it. I listened to the amazing opening act of V.V. Brown and listened to about four Owl City songs and left. I was that satisfied. The night was definitely not a waste of time.
